Robert Robards is a native of Sacramento. In addition to being a founder of the firm, he is the owner of Automotive Systems Analysis, a company that provides owners and managers of new and used automobile dealerships with personalized services pertaining to the evaluation of the dealership’s operation and compliance with governmental regulation. This makes Mr. Robards uniquely qualified to provide general counsel services and advise to automobile dealers regarding regulatory compliance and risk management. He also provides safe harbor advertising review and counsels dealerships on early resolution of consumer complaints. He has defended dealers in DMV hearings and provided assistance on BAR claims.

Mr. Robards is an associate member of the California New Car Dealer Association and has maintained a close working relationship with the Association. He is one of a handful of people who routinely consults with CNCDA and Reynolds & Reynolds to discuss potential changes in forms and documents to be used in the industry for purchase and lease transactions.

Mr. Robards received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Sacramento. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
